expanding field of therapeutic leisure programming
Provide unique educational opportunities for all members of the health care team who value quality
of life and quality of care
Maintain a "legislatively aware" and "actively participatory" role in issues pertaining to the
populations served by the activity professional
Provide networking opportunities
Promote, improve, and enhance the quality of life for those served who are unable to live independently and to ensure their fullness of life
Mission Statement
The Mission of the Wisconsin Representatives of Activity Professionals is to empower individuals facilitating activity services by providing education, advocacy, and networking opportunities to achieve personal growth and excellence in professional practice.
External Vision Statement:
All individuals facilitating activity services in adult settings shall provide excellence in activity programming.
Internal Vision Statement:
Wisconsin Representatives of Activity Professionals will be the premier source in providing the tools for members facilitating activity services to:
1) meet their professional standards,
2) comply with state/federal regulations and
3) to remain current in industry trends.
Our 3 Value Statements are:
1) We believe individuals receiving supportive services
in adult settings
deserve quality social, leisure opportunities.
2) We believe qualified individuals are vital to facilitate
activity
services.
3) We believe that individuals providing supportive
services to Adult population require ongoing training
and education.
